Headaches cause so much suffering. They can range in severity from mild to extreme. I used to take sometimes a dozen advil a day to try to get rid of mine. I now rarely have them. I never knew what caused those daily headaches (medium intensity). They were always on the left side of my head, around my temple.

The really interesting thing is, my headaches stopped after I had treatment for a blood disorder. I wonder if the thicker blood caused the headaches? Coincidentally, I also stopped drinking diet soda several times a day. I may have one a couple of times a week now, but still no headaches.

These days I suffer from an occasional migraine. When I feel it coming on, I have to take everything I have to keep it from knocking me off my feet for the day. I mean everything! Of course I'm not recommending this. I end up taking a dose of advil, some exedrin and an rx called ultram or percocet if I have them. Migraines don't fool around, so I have to hit them hard in order to avoid being really sick.

Hi ,
I've had headaches since 1988. I would get another Dr. and get an MRI! It could be serious( not to scare you but, that is the facts!) Combine 800 mg of mortrin and 750 vicoden and that really should help. Other treatments include icing the back of your neck and a message machine "Shiatsu", this messages you neck and head. They are lines that go up the back of your head and they squeeze your head in some headaches and this machine will work them out but, it hurts to work them out. Although if you can get these out you will get better. Keep yourself in a dark quiet room until better. Also try "Head On" as seen on TV, in combination. For some reason It seems to help. Another thing to use is real lavender extract oil on your temples, buy it at a health food store. Hope this helps!
